Just published – The End of Migraines: 150 Ways to Stop Your Pain
My new book, The End of Migraines: 150 Ways to Stop Your Pain, was just published by Amazon. It is also available on Google Play and Kobo.
I am very grateful to all my colleagues who took the time to read the book and to provide advance praise for it.
This is a self-published book. This allows me to update it regularly and to set a very affordable price – the e-book version is only $3.95 and the paperback is $14.95. The e-book version has the advantage of having many hyperlinks to original articles and other resources.
If you read it, please write a brief review on Amazon or Google and spread the word about it.
May G-d bless you, Dr Mauskop!
Your reply to my question gives me hope at a time when I had lost hope as this condition I call “my migraine” has progressively deteriorated.
Your blog has been my “go-to” source for years and your book is a portable reference consolidating your many years of clinical practice and research.
Your are a true healer.
CGRP drugs have no interaction with sumatriptan, so your doctor is likely to continue prescribing both.
Dr Mauskop, I bought your book and will give it to my family physician.
I have taken nightly preventive sumatriptan since 2012 with no adverse effects. I have a calcium score of five – almost undetectable.
Due to four years of off the scale stress shared by a close family member as a result of a series of surgeries and ill health, my migraine condition has deteriorated as I attempted to withstand the misdirected punishment – yet support – that family member.
Can you tell me: if I seek a Calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) treatment, would a physician continue to prescribe me sumatriptan 100 mg?
I had a PFO plugged in 2012 and I have had quarterly Botox injections for bruxism over the last twelve months. I’vehad migraines for 30+ years and became chronic in 2010 with daily migraines.
Over the decades, I have seen almost a dozen neurologists with an extremely poor result.
It would give me some direction to know if CGRP treatment would prevent me from treating with sumatriptan tablets.
