Red wine and headaches in the WSJ
Red wine is a common trigger for migraines, although we still don’t know the cause or why red wine is worse than white. I was just interviewed for this article in the WSJ along with my friend Mo Levin of the UCSF headache clinic.
After some lab test that showed I’m low on B12 and magnesium I was given a shot and infusion at the NY Headache center a month ago. I’m on Emgality too since three months ago but after the vitamin shot and magnesium infusion I felt even better. I’m on vacation this week and I’ve had three glasses of champagne the last two evenings and no headache. It seems that magnesium B12 and Emgality are working quite well all together.
